Do you know where the moon is? The Moon is approximately 384,400 km away from the earth. It is the one and only natural satellite of earth. The diameter of moon is about 3,474.2 km. It is the nearest big obstacle to the earth. The moon's surface is covered with dead volcanoes, impact craters, and lava flows, some visible to the unaided stargazer. Early scientists thought the dark stretches of the moon might be oceans, and so named such features mare, which is Latin for "seas" (maria when there are more than one). The gravity of moon is weaker because it had less mass than earth. Its gravity is about 1.6 meters per second. Nowadays everyone on earth want to go at the moon without knowing the fact that we humans had not explored the whole earth yet. Hopefully we have to explore our earth and its beauty then we can think about that.
